They could call it Falcon, but that would tarnish the name of the amazing Aussie spec car, which is RWD, and features an I6 Turbo or a Mustang V8 engine.

On second thought, scrap the Futura and bring us the Falcon.

:wtf: what strategy's that? there's only one "F" name I can associate with Ford cars and it'd only come in POS editions... I doubt they'd use it.

It's in their new naming strategy where all passenger type of vehicles has a name that starts with an F and SUVs starts with an E and all Mercury will have M names.

Focus
Futura (to be renamed)
Five Hundred
Freestar

SUV:
Escape
Explorer
Expendition
Excursion

Mercury:
M-something (Futura [formally] rebadge]
Montego (Five Hundred rebadge)
Mountaineer
There's was rumor to have the Euro Ford Modeo to come to the USA as a Mercury too.
