:eek3: Looks pretty
for an econocar. Side profile does have a slight BMW 6 look to it, IMO.

I really like it, or at least like it on paper. It looks kind of like a BMW E46 coupe with 6-series headlights, an R34 Skyline grille, and Hyundai Tiburon C-pillars and taillights; overall it seems pretty classy. The feature content seems pretty high what with the dual sunroofs, nice stereo, automatic climate control, 215/45-17 Bridgestone Potenza RE040 tires which are also OEM on the RX-8 and 350Z, turn signal repeaters on the mirrors, and a bunch of other nice little touches. The 160 hp inline four is enough power to be competitive with the Civic Si and Mazda 3s. I'm slightly disappointed by the weight at over 2900 lbs which is more than even the Mazda 3s 5-door and the fact that it has rear drum brakes. I'd be very interested to drive one.
Coincidentally, the three cars I've mentioned in this post are the shortlist of things I'm considering for when I graduate.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see where you got info on it having rear drums from. The PDF brochure states rear drums, but website says rear disc. It'll probably be correct to assume that it has rear drums.

I am quite disappointed at how...conventional the car look. It doesn't even have the glass panoramic roof like the rumor said. It reminds me none of the exotic car you guys mention. It merely reminds me of a Civic coupe.
A very "blad" follow up of the XB.
