Bor-ring! I thought Scions were supposed to be edgy. This is a very conventional looking coupe. As far as coupes go, I like the RSX better than this.

I think this is aimed at young women. They seem to like this sort of thing. I think most of the xB's are going to guys.

They should have made the panoramic sunroof optional to keep the base price even lower. Yeah its a nifty feature, but given the choice I think a lot of ppl would leave it off.

Totally sucks about the possibility of rear drums. Other than that, sign me up.

MrFatBooty, I'm with you...Either a Mazda 3 or this thing as a next car...Any word on price?

Supposedly it's gonna be around $18-19k which is about the same as both the Civic Si and Mazda 3s. I've driven both of those cars and the Si is a bit nicer to drive and has better seats but the 3s has nice doodads like steering wheel stereo controls and Xenon headlights. If I was buying a car right now I'd probably pick the Si because Honda has an awesome college graduate financing program. Scion also seems to be pitching the same kind of a gimmick which is why they had picqued my interest but I don't really get excited by either the xA or xB, but I do indeed like the looks of the tC. Here's hoping they can get it to drive nicely.

Yup.

I'm still in college, so I need a car that will get me though my remaining years and then some. I don't care for the xA or xB either, but damnit, if the price for the xC is close to $20K (or even less ) I'm gonna go put down a deposit. I can see them having a hard time keeping up with demand.

I test-drove a 3 and was fairly impressed. Haven't taken an Si for a spin, but I like the changes they've made for '04 as far as styling goes.

Also, under the "Standard Features" page it lists 4-wheel disc brakes. That's 2 out of 3. Let's hope indeed.

Where's this thing going to be made? Here in NA along side the Camry/Solara?

Mmmmmmmmkay....Go to the tC gallery on Scion's site. Click "Back Wheel." Turn up your monitor brightness all the way. Sure looks like a disc-n-caliper to me. :naughty:  :blue: :boink:

EDIT: Is this thing using the JDM Camry motor? I noticed this thing will have 159HP and the JDM Camry has 159PS...I wonder if the tC will require premium?

EDIT 2.0: LOL! "...you're secret is safe with us." Mmmm...Use Engrish to appease the American youth...Brilliant.
