in a class i had last semester they taught us that stress is concentrated on the least surface area. drilling holes into a metal disc decreases surface area - so all the stress from the braking force will be concentrated on the parts between the holes...

yeah i agree.. theres hardly anything different visually exept for the headlights. the rear end still looks gigantic. although the rear-ward slant is a nice touch, they've got a lot more to do to fix that rear end.

the rear end also has that flushmount edge brake light albeiit LED...




the rear keeps the vette style lights but is quite different than the current vettes...

the lights look more circular and less oval, you have the vette wings emblem, no lower slits, instead a nice lower gray fascia and the entire back panel is flatter like the 4th gens... the rear markers are also longer and its a noticeable shorter rear overhang...

the z06 should be a lot more different than the c5 z06 is from a regular c5
