I'm pretty sure these pics are at least partially photoshopped. Looks like Audi is doing an update similar to that of the A4 where certain bits of the sheetmetal like the doors and roof are retained from the previous car.

so they're guessing the new a6 will look like a mini a8, like how the new a4 looked like a mini a6?

Now if a biturbo 3.0 or 4.2 were to come along....<cough>...I could be persuaded otherwise...

what about the bumper is not US legal? are you concerned about plates fitting? bumpers are not illegal in the US when plates dont fit properly.
