Honda may build minicar
AN / July 15, 2002
TOKYO -- Honda Motor Co. is considering building a minicar for the European and Japanese markets that would be about the same size as DaimlerChrysler's smart.
"We are carrying out feasibility studies for a car that's under 3,000 millimeters (120 inches) in length," said Hiroshi Kobayashi, president of Honda Motor Europe North. "Technically, creating such a car would not be a problem."

I can only see the Smart feasible as a second car. It would be perfect to drive to work (especially for those of us who have to park on the street). I wonder how much they are (in US $$).

Keep it away from our shores, PLEASE. I don't care if they have a 160HP Type R version....if it looks like the Daimler Smart car, I'll pay for each and every one to be burned.

I'm wondering if this is that rumored replacement for the Honda City...
hmm... ah well. The US market probably couldn't tolerate anything smaller than the Fit. Bring us the Fit! (or just that Mugen Fit  )
