Default Subaru lowers sales target on Baja by more than half

Subaru has changed its annual sales target on the Baja from 24,000 to 10,000 units per year. This even with the addition of the deconted Baja Sport model and the soon-to-be introduced Baja Turbo with the 210 hp 2.5 liter shared with the Forester 2.5 XT. There is currently a $1000 rebate on the Baja Sport and a $2000 rebate on the Baja.

Not surprised at all. Maybe Subaru will finally freaking realize that this type of vehicle HAS NO MARKET.

You'd think they would have done a little market research. This vehicle is a gimmick - sure its functional and looks ok, but when it comes down to it, no one wants to pay $25k for it.
