I would say either the Kawasaki zx-12r or the Suzuki Hayabusa 1300. I think they even make a zx-14 now, but i'm not sure. These are straight line fast bikes, and don't handle as well as their smaller brothers because of their weight and size. There may be a faster one, but not that i'm aware of.
ZX-14 is insanely fast (110 in first gear, and makes more power than 95% of the 2000-3000lb cars that people have).. and its got the shortest wheel base in its class, almost as short as most 600s. imagine a 400lb, 55" wheelbase, 200hp machine.. mm mmm... slap a turbo on that bad boy.. fastest street legal bike i ever seen was close to 6 second quarters and did 230+.
ewood, how do you like that 636 you've got? i've been looking at those.
Love it. I love kawasaki. I want to upgrade to a zx-10r once i get better at riding, but im 145lbs and the 6r HAULS ASS. its tuned quite a bit better than the RR for mid-torque (the extra 37cc helps too) and its very noticable. If your looking for a 600 class bike that your not going to be pro-racing id say the zx-6r is the best hands down in my opinion. only complaint would be the lcd contrast on the guages.
