hi thanks for the post. I had my rotors cut, but sometimes the steering wheel still shakes or vibrate.
,also how do i check if the wheel bearing is bad.thx
High-speed vibration (no braking) indicates an out-of balance or out-of-round tire or rim. Swap tires front-to-back to see if the symptom changes...if so, it's the tires.
++++++++++++
usually wheel bearings make a humming sound (25 MPH and over) that changes when that side of the car is "loaded". That is, a bad left side bearing will hum louder during right hand curves. :awais:
these are new tires & wheels are not bent.
I felt steering wheel vibrates only between the clearance/play of left to right when I steered the wheel.
Also sometimes steering wheel shakes on hard braking.

Could still be an out-of round or balance tire...the tire installers don't always get it right.
Another possibility is that you need road-force balancing. This compensates for the areas of some tires that have less "give". (The tire is balanced on a machine that uses a roller to simulate the pressure of the car)
