Has anyone had any trouble with rust? I have a 98 CRV and have loved it up until this year. I now have an unexplained growling noise that the dealer hasn't found the cause of yet and a problem starting it on occasion. Now I find out that the hood is rusting through from the underside. I am currently trying to work out something with Honda about the rust but I would appreciate any feedback about similar problems.

UPDATE

After three weeks of phone calls and dealer visits, I finally was told by Honda that they will be picking up over half the cost of a new hood! And they fixed the growling noise!!!

 

Jeesh... no, that really surprises me. I can't' believe you have rust on a vehicle that new. Let us know how you make out with the dealer on that one.
