Is the pilot a J motor? If so, ain't it a bored and stroked accord ->tl -> tls motor?

If that's the case is there any swappable performance mods between the two? Like maybe the sweet Comptech Header? I emailed comptech awhile ago , but no response.

Who wouldn't mind a 270 hp pilot and/or an almost 300 hp MDX with more top end after a basic header swap? (CL-S/TL-S gain about 30 crank hp with just the header around 22 hp at the wheels)) ....

it's a J35, which is basically a bored J30A1. Noel, the J32A2 gets 30 horsepower at the wheels with a header, not the crank. That means they get about 36 horsepower at the crank.

I doubt mods are swappable.

 

My mistake about the crank and wheels, but either way it would be sweet. Oh well, I guess my dad will have to be content with a relatively slow SUV....that is if I can't convince him to get an AV6 7th gen....

The Pilot is actually pretty quick...about as fast as the 6th gen AV6.


Convince him to get the 7th gen Accord EX 5 speed :thumbup:
