07 CRV TPMS compatible
I was thinking of a set of aftermarket wheels for the 07 CRV LX but was cocerned about TPMS issues.
From what I've read, the LX sensors do not fit EX alloys because of the angle of the valve stem.
So would it be safe to say that the EX sensors would fit aftermarket wheels?
It seems that a lot of folks that are getting different wheels for their 3rd gen CRV are just omitting the sensors altogether and I would rather not go that route. I would still like to be able to keep the TPMS running smoothly without problems on our car.
Getting the sensors is not really a problem. I could always take them to the dealer to have the reset. Just wondering about fitment and compatibility. I wish I could omit them as it adds another $300+ to the price of new wheels.
