Default ridgeline worth it?

Im getting ready to sell my boosted GSR and buy a Ridgeline or Avalanche.
I like the Ridgeline because its Honda and its also cheaper then the Avalance. But the Avalance is more versiltile. It has a mid-gate. If you dont know what it is go to chevy.com and look it up. If the Ridgeline had this id buy it in a second. The only thing holding me back is the fact that your limited to bed length...what is it a 5foot bed? The avalance can turn into an 8foot bed.

ALSO-whats the MPG, is it really 16-20? The avalance is 16-20 with a V8 5.7L. How did Honda make a V6 3.5L thats gets the same MPG?

What do you guys think...is the ridgeline really worth it?
AND how do i get a hold of Honda to tell them to make a midgate!

Try the Ridgeline Owners Club forum. Not only does Honda read that forum, but the chief engineer of the original Ridgeline is actually posting over there from time to time.

Default well, if you are asking the question then it is worth it...

hint #1, there is a reason why the bed is made to 8'. If you don't know the reason, then I'd assume that you don't need that length...

hint #2, if the rare occation when you do need that length of space, you can always rent a trailer.
