Just picked up a Base '07; wonderful car. Attempting to do a mod where I need to wire up an additional power outlet and run a cable behind the dash. The cable is the power connector for my portable GPS unit that I want to mount on the dash. I am hoping to mount it in the small tray area in front of the clock. However, since this is my first MDX, not sure how to get behind the dash there. Does anyone have any info on the '07 MDX and know if the area around the clock / tray area easily comes off? I would assume it's held by clips but am not certain. I've attached a picture I found of the specific area I want to remove. Look for section 3, I want to bring up the cable there. Just need to know how to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
