Our 2001 Acura MDX randomly makes an audible thump when making turns. The dealership found a CV boot with a hole causing grease to leak out-the joint had to be replaced because of lack of lubrication. Unfortunately, the thumping reoccured within a couple weeks. Anyone else having steering thumps and any luck fixing them?

Are you sure it's from the steering and not the "rear brake thump" issue on the MDXs?
