Default 1996 Passport axles

I have a 1996 Passport built in Febuary 1996, I just had the axles replaced, now it is making alot of noise. Honda says it has the wrong size axles. I need to know the right size. Is it 17 5/16 or 18 5/8 shaft length? Honda says they don't know until they try the parts. This is costing me an arm and a leg in labor charges. Can anyone help?

Rear Axles?

You might have better luck going to an Isuzu Dealer. They may be able to tell you.

Honda dealers hate Passports and will usually try anything to get you to go away.

Take it to an Isuzu dealer, they are used to dealing with those things (since they are rebadged Isuzu Rodeos.)

Thanks alot for the suggestion. After many trips and phone calls to different part stores, I finally found the right ones! Can I ask you a personal question? Where did your name originate from? I have a son named Kai, and you don't hear of that name too often. Just curious?

And you usually have a better chance of the Isuzu dealer having the parts in stock.

High school German class nickname that stuck.

Most of the time, Honda dealers pick up parts from Isuzu dealers when needed. Honda keeps a very low stock of Passport and SLX parts.
