don't you have a warranty or what?

The orange light comes on as a warning. It almost always means that a person lacks the nesecary inteligence or funds to properly maintain their recently purchased car.

More than likely it is just that she didn't tighten the gas cap properly.

How many miles is on that MDX? The MDX has a 4year/50,000 mile warranty.

Take it to Autozone and have them run the codes for free.

Mine did the same thing after I bought it at 97,000 miles. It in fact was a bad gas cap. Got a new one and the light was reset at AZ and all was good.
