98 Honda Accord EX V6 EGR Valve
Hello everyone
I'm new here so this is the frist time for me. I'm a big Chevy guy have a 1977 Impala and have had Chevys all my life but I just got a free 98 Honda Accord EX V6 from a family member. Only had it two days and the eng light went on and ran the codes and got P0401 EGR insufficent flow detected. Now before I run out and get a new EGR valve at $170.00 I thought I would ask some Honda guys and gals if you could help me out. Is this a EGR valve or is it something other then the EGR valve? I have been reading here and have seen some other EGR problems about clogged ports. Could this be the same thing? And if so how would I fix a clog and were would it be.
I got myself a Haynes repair manual so I know were somethings are but would like some help.
