programming remote door opener

We have a 2000 CRV, lost one of the remote door openers, if we buy one off ebay, can we program it ourselves, or do we have to take it to the dealer? If we can program it, where do we get instrucitons?

Just buy one from the dealer, or manually open your doors!

make sure the remote matches the your existing remote. Remotes between models and generations do not work with each other. There are instructions somewhere on the forum... just do a search.
