any one got a modded ody?? lemme see it!

 

my dad jsut bought an 01..... anyone got mods or ideas

 

idea: if he wanted a fast car he shouldn't have bought an odyssey, so therefore modifying it is a wasted exercise

Tough luck on the 01...the 02 has 30 more horsepower. You'll never make that number up unless you spend well over a grand.

 

Here's My 98 1st Gen, not to many mods yet. I started with the easy stuff first. I've been researching the H22 Swap and also what parts I can use from the 5th/6th Gen accords for suspension/engine.

Front and Rear Slotted/Drilled Rotors
Pioneer Deck with XM Radio
Clear Corners
Removed Badging from front and Back
15" ASA 5spoke Rims
Cut MASSIVE antennea down and rounded off
LED Scanner in Gauge Cluster

as to the 02 horsepower.....we just bouht an 02 and I was pleasantly surprised at the acceleration and handling of these big things. The odyssey is actually more enjoyable to drive than my wife's former car, a lexus rx 300. We test drove several MDX's and actually chose the odyssey over one of those. I think it drives and handles better, hands down.
