Default Passport Problem

I have a 97 Passport and recently at 70,000 miles there seems to be some kind of start up problem. When ever i try to turn it on it makes a cranking noise but wont start up. I have to keep turning the several times then it start up. This just happend about 3 days ago when it reached 70k miles.

I dont know whats wrong with and if anyone can help i'll appreciate it. I love it and its still in good condition inside/out like it came off the dealer lot.
Still runs good and all that but the only problem is the starting problem so far that is my first and only problem with it during my ownership.

By the way its a V6 Auto 4x4 if that help any.

This sounds like your fuel pump is on its way out. Beware.

Today I found out that it was the starter contact that was worn out. Nothing major or big just the usually normal wear.
