Default MDX Compression Test Results

In the market for an Acura MDX 2001 41k miles. Compression is as follows

245, 232, 242, 225, 220, 230

max variation per spec is 28psi. These # show max variation as 245-220=25. Pretty close to the service limit. Also the # are just about 10% difference from min/max reading. I know that's a general limit for acceptability.

This was a leased car. Can someone "grade" these results, are these # more indicitive of an engine of much more wear? Dealer shows no oil changes, althought could have been done elsewhere. What do you guys think?

Thanks,

Jay

The numbers sound fine to me. There isn't much to worry about with an engine that relatively new. The result of a compression test can also change over the course of several tests.
