Default brakes on an odessey

Working on a 2002 odessey. I need new brake pads. My questions are as follows:

1) Will any pads work? Do I really have to buy the offical honda units at the dealer that IMO constitute a total rape?

2) Car has anti lock brakes. Can I just compress the calier piston in with a c clamp and be done with it without harming the anti lock brake system. I have heard that I will need to clamp the brake hose and then open the bleeder screw to compress the caliper.

3) Any tricks on the rear brakes?

4) Any other advice?

Default

Use honda pads it will be less noisey, use the molykote (that comes with it) on the back of the pads and shims. Just press the piston back in don't crimp the hose!
