Hello All!

I've been stopping by from time to time but I believe this is my first post.
Anyway. I'm from Sweden and will visit SEMA show in Las Vegas before driving down to LA. I was hoping to see some nice modifieds in general and Hondas/Acuras in particular.
The reason is educational purposes. We want to bring back some inspiration to the modified car scene in Sweden.

I've never been to LA before, and since the city is so huge I have no clue as to where I should start my search. Any kind of show or event would be a good starting point, or locations where drivers of modified compacts and imports usually hang out or meet.
A hint please, anyone?
