Default Early Legend Starting Problem

Early Legend owners...

My wife's 1990 Honda Accord had a starting problem. It turned out to be the main relay that controls fuel injection. A buddy has an early (1990) Legend that seems to be having the same types of problems (won't start in heat etc...). Anyone know if this is a typical Legend problem?
I had this in the Accord section & thought it would get better results over here in Legend. At any rate, here is the link to my thread.

In case anyone cares, this is also a problem for early Legends. I had my bud buy the Acura relay (slightly different part but essentially the same -- the mounting bracket is different) so I could swap out the part. The old one had brown corrosion on the soldering points inside the relay (just like my wife's Accord). After replacement, it started up like a champ in hot weather.
