Default Wiring harness...seat

on the 94 legend sedan the feed harness to the driver's seat under the carpet, can anyone tell me if it is plugged in or hardwired to the fuse area under dash....I've had so much trouble with getting the seat to work I'm looking to replace the harness and seat. there are some splices in the harness it self (home made) and after looking at the splices I noticed a lot of wires with the exact same colors and markings so i figured whoever spliced them got them mixed the ^%$# up....any help will be greatly appreciated....THANKS!!!!

The seat wiring harness is a real pain, the wires that go to the front actually plug into multiple connectors (found that out by trying to upgrade seats, decided against after following each wire to its various connectors). Sorry that I'm not much more help.
