Most likely, it's the switch (I'm like 99% sure on this, without seeing the car). After you recover from the sticker shock at the dealer, find a used one on Ebay.
Master switch is sold as one unit. If you take off the door panel and apply power to the motor at the plug connection, you can make the window go up or down.
