Default 92 acura legend problems

Hello, my car has been giving me some real problems lately, from overheating, temp needly up and down, no heat. Lately its been sputtering, missing, uneven idle. Finally, it will not start, turns over will not start, seems to be getting gas but no fire. can anyone help or have any suggestions on where to start to begin repair.

Thanks,

Sharon

Sounds like you may have a couple of problems. First, what do you mean when you say it "seems" to be getting gas but no fire? Have you actually checked for spark? If so, where did you check? At the plug? The distributor? The coil?

Re: overheating... have you checked the coolant level? If it's all topped up, you may have air in the cooling system which is causing the gauge to jump up and down. This will also cause erratic idle, cuz the ECU will change the idle speed from COLD idle to WARM idle as the air bubbles pass under the temp sensor. Bleeding the cooling system will usually fix this.
