I have many diffrent items on my car not working, my rear Defrost, my ABS light stays lit, my Cooling Fan comes on in off times. I've decided that i need to make sure that the relays are in tact, so i've read up on it jus a bit but i'm not too clear on one of the testing steps. It says for exp: " There should be contiunity between the "A" and "C" terminals when the battery is connected to the "D" and "E" terminals... this is what i'm not too sure about. If anyone could help with some insight to this that would be gREAT! Thank you in advance!

Have you checked all your fuses?
