my O2 sensor had to be replaced for my 98 acura rl (87700 miles) The engine light came on and code indicated problem. The garage thinks Honda will reinburse me due to problems with emissions. Honda's 800 # and Dealer say no. My research shows that there is a extended warranty for 95-97 emissions. I would like to get reinbursed if possible. I need some basis for requesting reinbursement. Does anybody out there have any info on this or suggestions. Thanks

 

you just said your research found that 95-97 emissions had an extended warranty, not your 98

 

Moving into RL forum. But yea, if it applied to 95-97 cars, it wont cover your 98.
