Difference between MPYA and JDM C32A transmissions

Difference between MPYA and JDM C32A transmissions
Can anyone tell me what the main difference is between the MPYA and JDM C32A type transmissions. Are they compatible and could a car that has a MPYA type transmission have a C32A install, with no problems or will this require some modifications?
