All of you guys on this site seem to be pretty knowledgeable cars, especially Acura. I was considering purchasing a 1994 Acura Legend L w/ 145K mi. They are asking $3,900. First, what are the things to look for as potential problems with this car, if any? Second, does this year and model have any notorious "problem" aspects? Third, is 145k mi ok for this year and model, what could I expect to get out of the car if I follow proper maintenance? Finally, what would be a fair price for this car? Thanks for any help from anybody. It is much appreciated.

 

The main thing I would say to look out for is electrical problems and maybe the AC as well. Other than that...nothing. 145k is fine for a 94. Make sure you check the maintance records 3 times over just to be sure. You can expect to get atleast 100-150k out of it as long as everything checks out and you keep up with it. $3900 isn't bad, but look at the interior leather and basic condition of the car. If your happy with it, get it.
