Default SRS Light On - Help

I Have a 2000 RL 3.5, what causes the SRS Light to stay on? I have never had an accident, not even a minor one. Can I reset the light,or get the car to give me some kind of code number?

i believe it's a faulty brain. my bro works at acura and said that, it's common in RL to do that. they may warranty if never been in accident. check your local acura dealership

I had the same issue on my '99 RL a couple of months ago. Turned out to be a faulty sensor in the passenger seat belt. Seat belts have a lifetime warranty, so it should get fixed for free.

I'm pretty new to this site, but I know that there is a DIY for resetting the light on acuraworld.com

Hope that helps.
