Default After market wheel offset

I am replacing my wheels with an 18x7.5 rim with 43mm offset. I will be using a 215/40/18 tire. Don't want them to stick out whatsoever. Are these rims/tires going to be ok?

You'll be right on the edge with 43 MM. I had 45MM on mine and it fit flush.

Mine is lowered. It rides pretty rough with the stock wheels on so I am thinking about raising it back to stock height. I don't want a big gap under the fender. Do you have any pics of your car?
