Default help!!!

my reserve tank is always on low... i fill it up but it just keeps going back down to the same spot... fixed the radiator too... i dont know what else is wrong.. help!!!

its possible you still have a leak somewhere. Have you checked your exhaust if its color is different (can't remember which one was burning coolant...white?)

You shouldn't need to be worrying about your overflow tank going down. If it's at the same spot, in between the min and max marks indicated on the overflow tank, you're fine. As long as no loss of coolant continues, leave as is, don't worry about "filling" up.

Have you opened up your radiator cap to check if maybe your radiator isn't full??

yeah, but the reserve tank always goes way past min.
i know i shouldnt worry about the reserve tank but i dont get why it keeps draining so quick...
i'll check the radiator today and see if its full

If it's leaking out anywhere, then each time it cools down it sucks more coolant out of the overflow tank. If your cap wasn't working properly, your radiator could've been half empty...

So you still gotta find the leak. Look for crusty deposits around the hoses. Pull your spark plugs. If your headgasket is leaking coolant into a cylinder, that plug will look really clean.
