iight i was driving by this little mom and pop car dealer and they had this teg under a tarp. so i mosey on over and take a look. come to find out its a 94 gsr with no wheels and a pretty bad tranny but the engine is a ok:thumbup: he said he would let it all go for 1k$ but i have an 01 ls so that wont do me much good. suggestions on buying and reselling parts, or just forget it.

a teg for 1k? thats a good deal, a gsr motor sells for about 800-1200 w/o tranny pending on miles and engine wear, if you have connections, you can get a new clutch in it and it would be fine. u can use steelies from your teg to sub, and u will be 2 seconds faster.

i don't have a teg but i have rode in a LS and a GSR, butterfly vtec kicks ass

 

if the rest of the car is good, you can sell it for parts and make $$ on the deal

buy it. get a set of donuts for $50, all you need then is a tranny. killer deal

 

man, i wish i came across a 94 gsr for a grand. if you have the money, buy that. i know i would as long as the motor wasnt toasted. it would make a great project car!

 

yeah ima have to go back out there and c if he isnt BSn me and also talk to my friend and we can go 50/50 on it and have a track car. i wish i could go for it myself but not enough $$$. i know tha trany gone, and ima need donuts. i also have to take closer look at engine and oil and miles, but yea ima try an go for it. ill keep yall posted
