code 9 means that my #1 cyl positin sensor is bad Does anyone know how to fix this problem. do i have to replace the whole distributer or can i just replace the sensor in the dist.
will driving with this problem for to long damage my car?
i have a 91 teg. any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, you could check to make sure it isn't just a wiring problem...

If its really the sensor, some people have said you can't buy just the sensors separately.
