If it was black stuff it probably came in a two part tube. Its called panel adhesive made by 3m. You can pick it up for about 30 bucks but its well worth it.

I molded my kit with it and its extremely strong. You use it when you don’t want to weld. Sometimes welding will warp the metal and its a pain in the *** trying to get the shape back.

I wouldn’t use it for small things like emblems but maybe for a trunk key hole or shaving your antenna, or even shaving door handles. For the smaller stuff use kitty hair, followed by bondo. You can do this for your side moldings.

Awesome job man. It means a whole lot when you do the work yourself, and you feel good doing it.

If you got any questions let me know. I did all the work on my car too.

First to be different. Second its still a daily driver until january. I plan to do a lambo kit on the the front doors and i wasnt sure if i really wanted to shave them, suicide the back. One day I might but i didnt want to have to deal with worrying if my battery was dead how i was getting into the car. I have no back trunk key hole.
Reverse lights are coming soon... not to safe huh. Im going to cut out and make a mold in the rear bumper for a little bar of white led's. They should be bright enough for people to see.

One thing you can do if you wanted to keep the font handles is replace them with the back door handles. This looks a lot cleaner since they dont have the key hole entry on them. Your alarm should have an unlock feature and you can get in that way. No mods need to be done at all, fits exact. You can go into a wrecking yard and find a 4 door and your color and take those handles, it would make it much cleaner if you didnt want to shave.
