Default $40 gift cert to Kragen... Should I get some cheapo fog lamps?

The only thing that was actually somewhat appealing in the entire store

Anyways, they're some Kragen brand "UltraWhite" foglamps made by a company called Blazer... at least they're SAE certified... but yeah... do these suck and would raise my rice level unacceptably high, or would they be an OK investment to spend someone else's money on? Opinions?

I'd just stock up on some Mobil 1 oil filters for my car... That should be about a year's worth right there.

Does Kragen carry Mobil 1 oil filters? The one around here only carries Fram, Pennzoil (Fram), and K&N oil filters.

I'd just stock up on Mobil 1 if I were you. My local Kragen has a coupon special on Mobil 1 which makes it 3.99 a bottle, which isn't as horrible as the 4.99 they usually ask for. Ends on Sept 24th.

$40 would get me about 4 months worth of Mobil1 filters :dunno:

I'd buy an oil filter, a case of oil, and a fuel filter. That's probably over $40 though.

Yeah... in other words, find something more practical?

I think I'll pick up the filters... I have a friend at a local speedy lube shop... I give him $10, and he just lets me do my own oil change on their equipment with as much Castrol synthetic as I can put into my car... he would let me use the filters too, but they're super-generic POS's that are made of like cardboard and plastic...

But yeah, filters are a much better idea!

How often do you change your oil for one car?

On average, I do 3k miles a month. An M1 filter is around $11, so that's 3.63 filters, about 4 months.

What do you do that you rack up 3K miles a month? Is your daily commute that far?
