Cheaper, bigger tire selection, and you get a little bit of a wider tire, which is always good

how about performance and comfort wise? what difference does it make compare to OEM tire size with stock ride height?

Performance largely depends on the quality of the tire, especially when comparing such similar sizes... and unfortunately the stock tires suck beyond all reason. Though, in theory, you'd end up with a grippier and rougher ride, but no butt can tell the difference at that point.

You'll get a larger wheel gap of around... 1cm?
