btw...did ur airbags deploy? mine didnt...i dont think i was goin fast enough for them to do that. [/B]
The following pics probably answers your questions. I don't remember them blowing up or hitting it. It all happened so fast. Gotta hand it to the safety engineers of our cars. Saved my life.

Anyway, wanna talk about a bad week? So I was saying the future is gonna be a WRX? Look down.

That's right. This is my sister's '02 WRX that was as good as mine. I was going to take over the payments and keep the car. Wouldn't you know it? Another big American truck.

She was stopped at a red light on the right lane behind a '98 Ford Expedition. I'm guessing he decided to make a right turn on red which is legal in California but found he was too close to the car in front to make it. So he backed up to make room. Didn't notice the little blue Subaru behind him.

Now the only problem is my sister didn't get any eye witness accounts. I mean, from the looks of it, couldn't he as easily say she rammed into him? The only thing I could think of is a WRX doesn't have enough power to push into a giant SUV like that. It would have to hit it on with speed and therefore the headlights would have to be cracked or something else broken. Only the SUV backing up slowly could cause that damage.

Well, the future looks grim to me. Do I still want this WRX? All I know is the rest of family is getting the message, something dark and evil is surrounding our family. Be careful out there.

Hey, from the looks of that interior pic you were hopped up on Yeo's Chrysanthemum Tea drink. Two whole cans? Hope the cops didn't see that...heh j/k

Yeah, those guys that drive trucks should be forced to run Brembos or something. My family trip to Vegas was f'd cuz a Chevy Silverado decided to collide into my dad's Mercedes at like 15-20mph. His mile high bumper decided to forgo greeting our bumper and instead mashed everything else on the rear end. Pathetic thing was traffic had been totally jammed for 2 hours and we were going less than 1mph.

Funny you mention that rear deck thing cuz I was just wondering about what would happen to that in an accident. Hopefully insurance will treat you well.

Btw, since when is it illegal to make a right on a red in California? Dude, I hope you are wrong cuz if you are right I have been making a crapload of moving violations for the past 6-7 years.

You must have read it too fast. I said right on red is legal in California. Pointed that out because some states don't allow it. Actually I was high on Yeo's Soy Bean. Only drank one, darn forgot to take the other one.

I was actually hoping to part out the car but the junkyard said $290 to take out the car and about $480 to tow home. I'm leaving it up to the insurance company.

If I do get the car back, of course, I'll post it here. I saw someone on this forum who needed the coin holder and the cigarette tray. And you can see in the interior pic, I still have that %^&$ing lousy rear deck cover in the passenger seat. In perfect condition! Maybe a little blood from the back of my head.
