My exhaust is slowly crumbling away and was wondering how has a high flow cat on their car or if anyone has heard good or bad. Thanks!

 

high flow cats are THE component to finish off your basic bolt-on package (intake, header, exhaust). Some do the test pipe route because they don't need to test for emissions, however, high flow cats work just as well while not polluting.

I've had both major brands: Random Technologies and Carsound. The Random Tech broke in half just 3 months after install. Immediately, I purchased a Jackson Racing converter (rebadged Carsound) and I've had it for almost 2 years with no problems. Many say Carsound is great, but other companies are starting to come out with their own as well.

:werd: Getting the high-flow cat was the cherry on the ice cream for my car... it just freed up that extra bit of resistance that was holding my car back... I got a random tech, and in the... let's see... 6 months that I owned it, the only thing that flaked was the heat shield...

So if you end up getting a random tech, rip that heat shield off before it annoys the shit out of you
