OH man, stay away from mis-spellers and mis informers. "non-vtech" and "horsepowers", "straight from Japan" when B18B1's were only available state-side...and even then 1050 for just a long block is terrible...

Yeah, keep an eye out in the For Sale forums here on HAN, and on Honda-Tech and even Team-Integra.net. You can probably find one in much better condition and I know you can find one for way cheaper. In fact, there is a guy with one for sale right now over at Honda-Tech for $800. Id give him $800 any day before paying that eBay seller a grand+shipping.

Oh, also, what are you buying this for? I mean, what car do you have/want to put it into?

Here is what I think.

Though, its a B18A. But that shouldnt matter as you really only need the block so you should be able to use that.

However, if you look more there are guys selling just blocks in the For sale section as well as pistons and rods and anything else you may need to get back on your feet.

Your info was right. You have a B18B. The thread I posted, he was wrong. He has a B18A.

But yes, if nothing else is messed up on the engine, while it is apart have the head ported and polished and buy a new piston and rod for the one it threw, make sure the other ones are good too and replace as needed and just buy a block since thats all you should really need.
