another victim to the CAI
....i couldn't believe it....i just came out of my house to pick my sister up...ROADS were flooded in my neighborhood so i decided to go back...and then it happened.... Hydrolocked!!!!...i had to push my car uphill back to my damn house....it sits in shambles in my garage now....question is....how can i get that water out of the motor??
i looked into the valves and saw one was pretty wet....opened the throttle body and water gushed out nicely:madfawk: ...if anyone can help that would be great....

Apathy Kills
Not again with the B16 bandwagon....
My recommendation still goes to the built & boosted B20. Sleeves, Aftermarket Management, the whole shooting match.
At 7psi on 93 RON, a good 275hp / 220 tq.. a rough estimate, very concervative.
The B16 will be working very hard to lug an Integra around. 111 lbft doesn't get you much. :nono:
I've said all of this before anyway....*sigh*

i dont think you hydrolocked.. if you hydrolock you dont just stall out.. the engine gives a bang! you will tell cause all the guts of your car will be everywhere.. when you hydrolock you just put enough water in the cylinderes to stop combustion.. hydrolock is basically that there is so much water in the cylinder.. when the piston is on the compressng stroke.. there is enough water that its basically like the piston hitting the wall because water cannot compress. .. hydrolocking does alot of damage to your car such as put a few holes in the block or break some rods.. etc .
just pull the plugs and crank it and let the water squirt out.. good luck
