Default Bumper light question...

I have clear bumper lights on my integra. Currently I'm using regular light bulb in them (yellowish-white), but was thinking about changing them to amber to match my sidemarkers. If anyone here have the same set-up, are you happy with how it looks?

I do- it does look better just because they match. I had the yellowish look before and it just looked like too many things going on. You'll be happy- gives it a more uniform look.

Good point. I have silverstar conversion (very white), clear bumper light with regular bulbs (yellowish-white), and then the sidemarkers (amber). I will definitely go with the amber bulbs.

A new question - Have you looked at the bulbs on ebay that, while silver on the outside, still give off amber light? There seems to be two varieties: ones that are regular 1157 bulbs simply coated with silver paint, and ones that actually have silver-colored glass. If anyone here is using these, do they give off enough light? And how long do they last? Thanks.

I have the silverstars also- very nice light, but I got mine before they marked the price down. What I need to do is get matching H4's for my fog lights- it is a mismatch for sure.

If anyone can recommend a good White (not blue) H4 fog light bulb I'd appreciate it.

(never seen the coated bulbs)

Well, they sure look like they'd work. Looking at the blow-up picture it doesn't look 'home-made'. Might be worth it- he doesn't have negative feedback, and it seems like people like 'em.

Are you registered on Ebay? I'd send an email to one of the buyers that has had them for awhile and see what they think. Just a thought.
