Default Moonroof on a 4 door

I know there are many differences between the 4 door teg and the 2 door, many which are obvious. But ever since i got my 4 door, my moonroof only goes back maybe 3/4 of the way. I even took off that gay looking wind visor that goes in front of the moonroof. I know on a 2 door, the roof kinda hangs over the rear window a little bit, and I know that no matter how far back my roof goes, it'll never hang out that far! But, is there a way to make it go back farther? Perhaps by modifying it a little bit? Anyone w/ a 4 door may know the answer to this question. Thanx.

My moonroof on the civic doesn't go all the way back into the roof. About 1/4 is always showing. I guess that is normal.

Sounds like my 4-door GS-R. It never slid back all the way. Slide the sunshade closed, then open the roof. Now you can pull the sunshade & open it a couple more inches. I bought that car new, & I drove a hatch also. I think it's the same mechanism.

I have a 4 door teg as well and experience the same thing.............it kind of sucks because you have a nice big moonroof that you can only half use....... At least now I know that I am not alone.........

From what i know about tegs, the roof slides up and out of the roof, whereas mine slides into the roof. You would think you would get more open space b/c the glass is still on the outside, oh you said 4dr. I'm not sure about 4drs.
