Default Will Ls Header Fit on a Gsr

My Friend Has a Header for an 96 LS motor and I was wondering if they would fit on my 00 gsr?

The lengths and what not may line up, but when u try to bolt that sucker up to your head, the holes wont line up. I know it first hand.

It will bolt to the head, but a ls header is about 6 inches longer than a gsr.

Okay, I've seen it online in various sites and what not, but when I wasted 4 hours trying to get a 2000 ITR exhaust manifold on my 00 LS, I said F*ck you to all the sites and whoever else who thinks it bolts up.

Your best bet is to just get a GSR exhaust manifold gasket, and see if the holes line up with your friend's LS header, instead of wasting your time and labor.

If they line up, then tell me about it, and I'll admit I was wrong.

I have an oem ls header on my b18c1. This is because I swaped a b18c1 into my dc4. I had to use the ls header because the gsr header was too short to reach my cat. But never the less it WILL fit to the head.

In 2000 the GSRs header length was lengthened to that of the early LS's. This would be why 00-01 GSR exhaust systems have the same part number as 94-7 LS's...
