Okay so i took off my shifter and BLAH... Im up where it connects from shifter boot to transmission. Where it connects to the transmisison you push off the dust rubber cover and theres a push pin inside that to disconnect it from transmission. How do i get this pin out it WONT come out i've attempted to tap it out but it won't BUDGE if you know what to do.....TELL ME

 

Use a punch sized to the roll pin and wack it with a hammer until it moves. Penitrating oil may help.
