Default F22a swap possible?

I was going to swap a H22a into my integra except the guy who had them moved away so now my second resource is a F22a engine. It's the same size as a H22a I guess just wonder if anyone has heard of these in any integra's? H22a is vtec and F22a is it just not vtec i'm guessing. It's stock 160hp. I'd get new cams and headers. What do you think of this swap? Also i need to get a new engine in my car anyways because mine is worn out!

Theoretically it would be possible since an H22 can be swapped, but II wouldn't bother. I would swap a GSR over an F22 in a heartbeat.

If you swap in an F22A, it will make it easier to swap in an H22A later.

Don't bother modifying that engine though, it is not a performance engine. It is not worth the hassle unless you want to prep for an F20B or H22A later.

A B18C would be much more useful in the short term.

well except i have a guy with lots of f22a's for a very good price. A lot better price then getting a gsr engine. I'd only take f22a cams header exhaust. Be pretty quik right?

Not really, depending on the year of manufacture it makes decent power, however it is still a heavy engine.

Mind you, an F22A is a SOHC engine, i.e. it only has one cam. Kinda like a giant SOHC D-series engine.

Still, the F22A has only one cam. If you don't believe me, go to a junkyard, the ones around here always have a few F22A powered Accords.

You are not going to get 250 N/A horsepower out of one of those without a LOT of money.
