Default How big of a shot NITROUS can I run on a stock GSR motor?

I recently almost totaled my car... I had a GSR with a turbo kit... I'm not gonna lie to you, but I am only 16 and am much to immature to be driving a Turbo Integra. I am not used to that much power. And this is contributed to the accident (and no, I was not racing). Anyway, I was going to go nitrous for TRACK only racing. And I was wondering how much I can spray and what options I can have (direct port, wet, dry etc.)

For my fuel management, I am using the VAFC Hack with 450cc injectors, and I am hoping that that is enough fuel delivery for a higher shot, but am not sure. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I wouldn't run more than a 75 shot on fully stock internals. I have heard of people running 5 shot totally stock and no problems at all.

Assuming you have your stock GSR manifold, NOS makes a plate system that fits in between the two pieces of the intake manifold. This would be your best bet. I knew a guy running a 125 shot on a stock GSR motor, but with proper tuning. The problem you're going to run into with the VAFC hack and 450's is during your daily driving. You won't have all that boost to compensate for anymore, so you'll run super rich. That being said, my friend had only a high flow inline fuel pump, colder spark plugs, aftermarket ignition, and a nitrous controller...and he ran 125 shot on a stock GSR motor. All it takes is proper tuning. Now I know people are going to come on here and say it can't be done, but it CAN, and it has. Now that's not to say that you won't run into problems. Whenever you're running that much nitrous/boost, it doesn't take a big problem to say bye bye to a motor. I like to use this phrase when it comes to these things....You play, you pay.

Well put, Brett. If I were you, and being somewhat conservative about it, I'd run a 55 shot on stock internals, once your fuel management issues are resolved.

I don't have money set aside for a rebuild if the worst were to happen and I consider anything beyond 75 on a stock B-series to be akin to walking on a highwire... if you fall, it's gonna hurt a lot.

something I am not COMPLETELY sure about is how the VAFC HACK works.. I mean, if I tune the injectors down to stock (-45%), all the way through the power band, how would I be running rich? Cuz technically, it is still reducing the flow of the injectors enough to make it near stock..... But I am not sure.. Just my opinion.
